With a population of approximately 35,000 residents, Andover is found in Essex County on the Merrimack River. The town’s long and colorful history ranges from colonial times through the Revolutionary War and Civil War into the industrial age, where the town was a key contributor in the local economy’s main industry, woolen mills. Andover is located just 12 miles from Haverhill, 24 miles from Boston and 30 miles from Nashua, NH. This makes it an ideal place to live and commute into work.
